There's nothing admirable about being a victim, nor should victimhood be worn like a badge of honor. My mother likes to remind me how I shit my pants during baptism. It was sometime in 1988, the year of my birth, in the local United Methodist church. I was being held by my father, dressed in my outfit of purist white. As I awaited the so-called cleansing, force-fed a lot of Christian pomp, I must have decided the time would be better spent cleansing my bowels. Cleanse them I did, and gloriously so, right there on the altar. My father looked down to see slimy brown shit being squeezed through the leg-holes of my diaper, soiling his hands as well as my white adornments. LaVeyan Satanism is  not  "Theistic Satanism" LaVeyan Satanism = No God & No Devil (except within ourselves), No Heaven & No Hell (except here on Earth). LaVey used Satan as the manifestation of mankind's natural desires that have been intentionally suppressed by organized religion. What has been deemed sinful, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone who does not deserve or wish to be hurt, is embraced in Satanism. The so-called "Seven Deadly Sins" are prime examples. Satanists see nothing wrong with indulging in these "sins," provided the indulgence doesn't turn to compulsion / addiction. Like many other self-realized Satanists, I feel a great sense of kinship, understanding, & respect for Dr. Anton Szandor LaVey. His eternal flame burns on through the work he left behind, so that other devils might spread their black wings and soar above the herds of mediocrity. He put forth more than this sorry world could ever return. I first read The Satanic Bible years ago, and of course loved it immediately, but it wasn't until I recently began following up with his subsequent works realized we are very much the same with our distaste for humanity at large, dislike of crowds or even leaving our home, and delight in seeing rotten people suffer.
